The City of Louisville provides water, sewage and gas  services as well as Limbs, leaves and Bulk Pickup. The City Maintenance Crew Pick up Limb and Leaves On Mondays and Thursday Then all Bulk Pick Up (old furniture – appliance etc.) is on Friday, IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THESES SERVICE CALL CITY HALL (487) 625-3166.   Garbage services to the residents of Louisville and surrounding areas to businesses located within the City are provided by Coastal Waste & Recycling, If you have Questions on your house hold trash, you can call Coastal Waste & Recycling @ (706) 790-4117.

New accounts may be set up at City Hall and a deposit is required  . In order to set up an account, Call City Hall @ 478-625-3166 for further details].

Accounts are billed each month on the 30th.  Current payments are due on the 15th of each month if not paid  by this date there will be a 10% penalty  added to  your bill on the 16th after all payment  are entered out of drop box and mail .   If not paid in this time you will then have a pass due bill that is due by the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH and if not paid by then you will be subject to having your service cut off  ON THE 1ST OF THE NEXT MONTH, WITHOUT FURTHUR NOTICE.  In order to avoid delinquent account status, bills must be paid on time. Accounts that remain delinquent will result in discontinued water service. The cost to turn an account back on after it has been turned off is $25.00 the first time and at the same time this fee could be more for second and third time for repeated delinquent accounts.

“If you encounter a leak on your property, please contact a plumber to investigate the problem before calling the City. Houses should have a shut-off valve underneath the house or in the basement. If you do not and the City has to temporarily suspend water service, you will be charged a $25 service fee.”

“Please contact the City Hall  at 478-625-3166 should you notice water leaks in the street, etc., or if there is a distribution system problem. If the problem occurs after hours, please call 478-625-8455.”

The City provides natural gas to residents and businesses within Jefferson and Burke Counties. The City currently services over 800 customers.
